Mii-dera Temple (Onjo-ji Temple)

- Mii-dera is the head temple of Tendai Jimonshu which calls a formal name "Onjo-ji Temple" and is located in Otsu-city, Shiga.
- Its common name “Mii-dera” (“temple of the three wells”) comes from the miraculous spring in which the three emperors Tenji, Tenmu and Jito were given their firth bath (Ubuyu).
